Conditions decide. Plan B is always pre-scouted — alternative valley, dry tooling, or north faces.
You book your own flights; we recommend arrival at Turin, Grenoble or Marseille by 4pm on the Saturday. We do not sell or book flights.
On this trip you climb as your own independent party: no instruction, no supervision, no guiding. I sort everything around the climbing; the climbing is yours. Check yourself against the list — honestly.
The booking form asks for a short climbing CV, and I review it before your spot is confirmed. If it's not the right fit, your deposit comes straight back — one click, full refund.
A professional photographer is on the ice with you all week. You go home with 50+ edited photos of yourself and the crew film.

Sascha — twenty years climbing, professional photographer and film-maker, organiser of the January Écrins trial. He runs the house, the food, the plan and the cameras. On this trip, nobody runs your climbing.
On guided weeks, certified IFMGA mountain guides — the highest qualification in mountaineering — run the climbing at a maximum of two climbers per guide on ice.
